Description
Have you ever felt like your villages have way too many Clerics and Nitwits and not enough Farmers? Well, you're not imagining things: the 1.12 game code is much more likely to pick Nitwits and Clerics than it is other professions.
This mod fixes it so that newborn villagers will have an an even chance of getting each career. It also adds an optional Splash Potion of Amnesia which can be thrown at villagers to make them forget their profession and choose a new one. Recipe: add an Emerald to an Awkward Splash Potion.

Vanilla Odds Explained
When a new villager is born, the 1.12 game code first chooses a robe color at random and then later chooses an appropriate career for that color. Because different robe colors have different numbers of careers, this results is an uneven probability distribution as shown below:
- Cleric (16.7%)
- Nitwit (16.7%)
- Librarian (8.3%)
- Cartographer (8.3%)
- Butcher (8.3%)
- Leatherworker (8.3%)
- Armorer (5.6%)
- Toolsmith (5.6%)
- Weaponsmith (5.6%)
- Farmer (4.2%)
- Fletcher (4.2%)
- Fisherman (4.2%)
- Shepherd (4.2%)
With Too Many Clerics installed, each career is chosen 7.6% of the time. Mod-supplied careers will also be given an even chance.
