TooManyRecipeViewers (JEI 19.57 / 15.62 update)
This is an unofficial update of TooManyRecipeViewers by Nolij and the Craftoria team. It is not made or endorsed by them. Please don't send bug reports from this version to the original project.
TMRV lets you run JEI plugins inside EMI without installing JEI. It maps JEI's API onto EMI directly, so JEI plugins load after you join the world instead of holding up the loading screen.
The original TMRV targets older JEI versions. This version updates it to the newest JEI on each supported Minecraft version:
- Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge): JEI 19.57.0
- Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge): JEI 15.62.0
What changed
- Builds against the newer JEI API, including the new config system that JEI now ships as a separate library.
- Adds support for newer JEI features that plugins use: recipe widgets with tooltips, grouped catalysts, slot tag detection, and the bookmark API (mapped to EMI favorites).
- Fixes the recipe "forward" key so it uses EMI's forward key.
Everything else works the same as the original TMRV.
Requirements
- EMI is required.
- Do not install JEI alongside this mod. TMRV replaces it.
Known limitations
These are the same as the original mod:
- Only
config/jei/blacklist.jsonis read from JEI's config files. Use EMI's own settings to hide items. - Recipe Manager plugins are only partly supported.
- JEI plugins can't change recipes or ingredients after loading finishes.
