What's new

Throw Weapons 2.1.0 for Minecraft 26.2

  • Partial throws after a brief 2-tick hold; longer holds increase speed, range, and velocity-based damage up to 30-tick full power.
  • Accurate charge indicator: red before readiness, blue for partial power, gold at full power.
  • Separately bound Throw-key taps cancel without dropping; shared Drop-key taps still drop one item.
  • Fixed displaced third-person sleeve/shoulder layers, respecting classic/slim skins and sleeve toggles.
  • Server-authoritative timing, synchronized multiplayer poses, late tracking, safe cancellation, dimension/respawn cleanup, and item/component conservation.
  • Improved visual settings, configurable server damage, and data-pack compatibility tags.

Requires Minecraft 26.2, Java 25, NeoForge 26.2.0.75, and SeamlessLib 2.x. Install matching NeoForge jars on client and server. Fabric API and Architectury API are not required.

Back up worlds/configs and test copies before upgrading. Existing mod/registry/packet IDs and config filenames remain unchanged.

NeoForge 26.2.0.75 Vulkan requires earlyWindowControl = false in config/fml.toml because its OpenGL early loading window prevents Vulkan surface creation (upstream issue #3230). OpenGL uses default settings.

Verified with 29 unit tests, seven Sword Throw GameTest scenarios on each loader, real OpenGL/Vulkan paired-client multiplayer tests with all five suite mods, and an isolated Sword Throw + SeamlessLib world launch.
