Three Hour Tour Companion
The companion mod for Three Hour Tour, a modpack about living on a ship in an ocean.
It is a small mod with three jobs, and all three exist to make the pack's central idea work: that your ship is not a vehicle you own but the thing your whole game is attached to.
The ship core. The block that makes a vessel yours. It carries the ship's identity, and it deliberately has no item form — a core that can be picked up is a ship identity somebody can walk off with. It can still be relocated, by a gesture the block itself explains when you click it empty-handed.
The on-ship predicate. The question "is this player actually aboard their own ship right now?", answered once and answered consistently, so everything else in the pack can ask it and get the same answer.
Research-gated placement. A block you have not researched cannot be placed at all — not merely uncraftable. That is what lets the pack's research tree describe what your ship is allowed to be, rather than only what your crafting grid will accept.
Installing it
You almost certainly do not want to install this on its own. It ships with Three Hour Tour and does its work there.
If you are installing it deliberately, it needs Sable and GuideME, and uses KubeJS and FTB Teams when they are present. Outside the pack it has very little to do: it has no recipes to speak of, and its research gate expects the pack's datapacks to give it something to gate.
Built for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge.

That covers this mod. The mods it depends on are their authors' work and carry their own terms.
