A new offhand item. Store steps to give yourself temporary speed and 2 block step height. Thats all. For Cavan my beloved
Simply hold in your main or offhand to store blocks traveled. Then right click to activate, spending those steps to give yourself speed and 2 block step height.
This will give you an early game alternative off hand item so that its not just always a shield.
