THE OTHER SIDE is a progressive psychological horror mod for Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1. What starts as a standard survival experience slowly decays into an unsettling nightmare as an ancient presence gains strength from your fear.

🎮 Key Features
🍂 Progressive Environmental Decay
The world around you is not safe. Over time, natural blocks slowly wither. Grass turns into barren dirt, leaves decay, stone fractures into deepslate, and eventually, netherrack and soul soil begin to corrupt your surroundings.
🛌 Nightmare Cycles (Nights 1 to 4)
Sleeping is no longer peaceful. Each of your first four nights triggers a brief teleportation into a dark void where the Entity speaks to you. The dialogue changes every night, building up tension as the presence grows stronger.

👤 The Climax (Night 5)
On your fifth sleep, a unique cinematic unfolds. Your exact double—mirroring your skin—appears in front of you. After revealing its true nature, it escapes into the Overworld, dragging you back to reality with severe consequences.
💔 Crippling Debuffs & Red Sky
Upon waking up from the 5th night, the world is thrust into chaos:
- The Overworld sky, water, and fog turn blood-red, and animals run wildly in constant panic.
- The Entity drains your strength: you permanently lose 3 hearts (-6 Max HP) and are permanently slowed down.
- Note: If you die, your physical stats are temporarily restored, but the world remains corrupted.
👹 The Stalker Boss & Jumpscares
The Entity now hunts you in the Overworld. It is immune to sunburn and pursues you relentlessly, occasionally whispering accusations in the chat. Getting too close (within 3 blocks) triggers a sudden, terrifying jumpscare, displaying one of three randomized horror images on your screen with a piercing screech.
🔮 The Banishment Ritual & Ultimate Choice
To fight back, the mysterious stranger in the chat will guide you to craft the Banishment Totem using corrupted shards dropped by the boss. Strike the Entity with the Totem to freeze it in a dramatic storm of blue flames and lightning. Once banished, an interface opens forcing you to make a choice:
- Leave the World Forever: Scels the Entity. The world save file is permanently deleted from your computer, and you are disconnected.
- Stay & Reset: Refuse to let go. Your health and the world return to normal, but the cycle resets back to zero.
