Curse Maven Snippet
The first proper release build of the mod! It's still not done, but a substantial portion has been finished.
I recommend installing MrCrayfish's "Configured" mod (it allows you to configure the mod to your liking) and Snownee_'s "Jade" mod (it's just WAILA/HWYLA/WTHIT/whatever people call it these days).
Meta-Changes:
* The mod now follows MCVERSION-MODVERSION in its formatting.
* The mod now has a remote update repo so you can see when it has an update in Forge with the small green diamond icon.
Changes:
+ Added new block to convert Luxen to RF. It looks much like a capacitor, but uses red/cyan themes to match the original RF mods.
+ Added new block to convert Luxen to a Redstone signal. This currently has no texture and borrows its appearance from the RF block.
+ Added the ability to craft Forlorn decorative blocks.
+ Added the first functional Luxen block, which collects solar energy at a low rate based on apparent skylight.
+ Added a creative Luxen source which provides an infinite amount of energy.
+ Added a solid variation of the Conduit block that can be used for any scenarios where an airtight block is desired. This is a shapeless recipe with a conduit and a block of glass.
+ Conduits can now be waterlogged as one would have initially expected.
+ Added two new ingredients, Hardlight Shards and Binding Essence
+ Added the Hardlight Glass block, crafted with 9 Hardlight Shards.
+ Added Hardlight tools that can be crafted with two new ingredients coupled with diamond tools. They have 2/3rds the durability of Diamond tools but are lighter and faster.
+ Added the Luxen Reconstructor, which uses energy to repair Hardlight tools and items.
+ Added missing recipe for the Lumo Wand
+ Added hardlight armor variants.
* Conduits no longer block skylight (unless they are waterlogged).
* Fixed a mistake that could cause Light Capacitors to crash the game when attempting to rebuild the connection cache.
* All glass-based blocks no longer use the sound dedicated for hardlight glass.
* Fixed a bug causing Spirit Arc to require ammo that didn't actually exist.
* Improved the behavior of the Spirit Material system, resolving issues with things like carpets and trapdoors.
* Improved the display of Light tech tooltips in Jade.
* Fixed an error where some sounds were still stereo, resulting in them playing with infinite range without volume attenuation.
* Fixed a number of bugs causing dedicated servers to crash.
* Reduced the amount of crafted Luxen=>RF blocks from 4 to 2
* Reduced the amount of crafted Solar Luxen Generator blocks from 4 to 2.
- Temporarily removed the particles for Spirit Arc impacts. These were broken anyway.
Known Bugs:
* In some cases, Light technology blocks will fail to register connections appropriately. This is being investigated as it is extremely inconsistent.
* Servers may not work properly, still need to do more with this.
