Flagship Changes (you probably want to read at least these):

  • New Forlorn Ruins themed decorative blocks exist! These will be craftable in the next update and are limited to Creative for now. They can be powered by Redstone to glow, or unpowered to display gray.
  • The core framework for Light technology is almost done! It works, but it is not entirely efficient. Still, it works! You can play with it in Creative mode. Expect Tech real soon.
  • Light tech blocks and colorable Forlorn-themed blocks now have code to display in Jade.
  • The Lumo Wand tool has been updated to interface with Forlorn-style blocks and can change their color scheme between blue and orange.
  • The Lumo Wand can no longer manage the connection state of conduit blocks, and they are always automatic. Theoretically they should work with manual mode still, but the tech system does not recognize this fact and will cause the system to rebuild the list of connected technology, which can cause lagspikes.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed blocks that were not a full block tall to play the sound of the block beneath them (for example, placing a stone slab on top of a grass block would play a grass sound when walking on the slab).
  • Fixed a bug causing Infested Deepslate to play a squishy sound when stepping on it.
  • Fixed a mild oddity where normal glass would play the sound dedicated for solid Spirit Light (this block does not yet exist). Glowstone still shares this sound because it is a bit more rare.
  • Fixed a bug causing Redstone Blocks to make a metallic sound. They now make a powdery sound.

Known Bugs For Later:

  • You can't rebind the Wall Cling action, it is always the same as Wall Jump.
  • Decay Fluid doesn't properly infect Water and just gets immediately erased.

Other Internal Changes

  • Datagen has changed and now uses a folder hierarchy for textures and models. If you made resource packs, you will need to review them.
  • Light Capacitors now have a texture.
  • Light Conduits have a new texture that matches the rest of the blocks in the same category.
  • The sound on Light Capacitors has been removed.
  • A new sound for connecting a conduit to a capacitor or other power source exists. Zap!
