๐ท A Custom Camera Experience

The Lost Camera is not a simple reskinned item.
Its camera was built as a complete custom 3D Blockbench model, with its own viewfinder interface, adjustable focal length and photography mechanics designed specifically for the mod.
The camera dynamically handles settings such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO, while every photograph preserves information about when and where it was captured.
๐๏ธ How It Works
Explore the world and search for unusual forgotten structures.
When a ruin is properly framed through the Lost Camera:
- Prepare a Photographic Plate.
- Frame and photograph the ruin.
- Watch the structure reconstruct itself in real time.
- Preserve the discovery inside your Field Album.
- Return after restoration to complete its Before / Restored photographic record.
Every restored structure reveals another glimpse of what the world looked like before it was lost.
๐ The Field Album
The Field Album records your personal discoveries and photographs.
Browse your gallery, inspect photographic metadata, mark favorites, archive memories and unlock dedicated records for every forgotten structure you discover.
Unknown ruins remain hidden until you find them yourself.
All albums belonging to the same player access the same personal collection.
๐งช The Darkroom
Photographs do not have to remain inside your album.
Use the Darkroom Table with Photographic Paper to develop physical copies of photographs you have captured.
Your original photograph remains safely stored in your collection, while the developed print can be placed inside a Photo Frame and displayed anywhere in the world.
Create galleries, museums, archives or simply decorate your base with memories from your own adventures.
๐ง Active Development
The Lost Camera is still under active development and is not yet a finished mod.
Version 0.3 introduces the core exploration, photography, restoration, collection and photo development systems, alongside the first six handcrafted forgotten structures.
Future updates are planned to bring:
- More structures, sizes, rarities and environments.
- Further camera and Field Album improvements.
- New restoration effects and animations.
- More exploration and collection progression.
- New rewards and hidden secrets.
A secret dimension is also being considered as a possible endgame reward for restoring the complete collection.
Features and content may continue to evolve during development.
