# The Dream Table 2.0.0-beta
The biggest update yet: farms are organized by category, a small model of your farm floats above the table, and the new My Farms page lets you keep farms loaded, check their storage, repair them and take them down.
## Farm categories
- The farm list is now organized by category: Plant Farms, Mob Farms and Resource Farms.
- Each farm card shows its block count and how long it takes at your build speed, like "2505 blocks · ~20 s". My Schematics shows the same for your own files.
- The Dream Table keeps one proven design for each essential vanilla farm. For a bigger, smaller or different version, use My Schematics.
## Farm miniature
- A small model of your chosen farm floats and turns slowly above the table, with your material swaps.
- In multiplayer, each player sees the miniature of their own farm.
## Layered hologram
- While a farm builds, the hologram shows only the layer being built and the one above it. Press H to see the whole farm and back.
- While placing the farm, the hologram always shows the whole thing.
## My Farms
- A new page in Options lists every farm you finished, in every dimension, with its coordinates and status: running, not loaded, or storage full.
- Each farm's page shows how much of its storage is in use, the items it holds, and its block and chest count.
- Keep Loaded keeps a farm working while you play, so plants grow, hoppers collect and iron golems spawn even when you are far away or in another dimension.
- You get a chat message when all the chests and barrels of a loaded farm are full.
- Repair rebuilds a farm from the table you are using. Blocks still in place are skipped, so only missing ones are placed and paid for. The button shows how many blocks are missing and is off when nothing is.
- Harvested sugar cane and bamboo are not counted as missing, and Repair does not ask for them.
- Take Down, after a second click, removes a finished farm a few blocks per tick and gives its blocks and chest contents back, as mining it would.
- Server owners choose how many farms each player may keep loaded (`max_loaded_farms_per_player`) and whether they stay loaded while the player is offline (`load_farms_while_offline`).
- Mob farms are the exception: the game only spawns mobs within 128 blocks of a player. The table also suggests building them above sea level.
## Your farms survive updates
- Every finished farm now saves the exact design it was built with, inside your world.
- Repair, Take Down, missing blocks and storage use that saved design, so they keep working even if a later version changes or removes that farm, or you delete the schematic file it came from.
- Farms you finished in earlier versions get their design saved the first time the world loads, as long as the farm hasn't changed since.
## Multiplayer
- On a server, My Schematics now lists the server's schematics, and every player sees their hologram, clipboard and miniature without having the files.
## Fixes
- Kept-loaded farms now really grow and work when you are far away or in another dimension.
- Discard and Take Down now also drop whatever leaned on the removed blocks, like grown sugar cane or bamboo, crops you planted, torches, redstone and extended piston heads, instead of leaving them floating.
- Farmland that dried into dirt and bamboo that grew from its shoot are still recognized as part of the farm.
- Long storage details in My Farms now wrap onto two lines instead of being cut off.
- If you started a farm that is no longer in the mod, its project is dropped and your delivered items are returned. In My Farms, it can be forgotten to free its area.
## Polish and performance
- Placing and removing blocks now shows subtle particles.
- The hologram and the miniature work out each farm's visible faces once and reuse them, so large farms are much lighter to display, and the hologram looks cleaner.
- Fast builds renew the chunks they keep loaded far less often, and the spot check while placing does less work.
## Under the hood
- 38 automated tests run with every build, checking among other things that every farm reaches clients intact.
