The Dream Table

The Dream Table projects a classic redstone farm as a hologram, then builds it one block per second after you deliver the materials.

# The Dream Table 1.1.5-beta

The last polish update of the 1.1 series: a new build speed menu with a custom slider, private player data, builds that keep going when you walk away, an optional view of other players' farms, and new tools for servers and modpacks.

## New build speed menu
- Options is now a menu with two entries: Build Speed and Show Other Farms.
- Build Speed offers three levels: Slow, Normal and Fast. They are 25%, 50% and 100% of the server's fastest rate, which by default means 64, 128 and 256 blocks per second.
- Custom adds a horizontal slider: drag it to any speed from 1% to 100%. The value is saved when you let go.
- Every option shows its share and how long the chosen farm will take at it, like "Normal · 50% of max · ~20 s".
- The default is Normal. Tables set to the old 10, 5 and 1 minute options switch to Slow, Normal and Fast.

## Builds keep going
- While a build runs and its owner is online, the table keeps its own area and the spot being built loaded, so the build keeps going when you walk away or explore. Taking a farm apart works the same way.
- The loaded area is kept small and is released a few seconds after the build stops, pauses or finishes.
- In Creative, builds now run at the server's fastest rate, spread evenly over every tick.

## Multiplayer and privacy
- Each player's table data (farm, materials, placement, progress) is now sent only to that player. Other players no longer receive it at all.
- Updates are sent at most once per tick, and only to players close enough to see the table, so busy servers send less data.
- If the table reloads on your side, for example after walking away and coming back, your project shows up again on its own.

## Show Other Farms
- A new option in Options, off by default. When on, it outlines other players' farms near you: orange while they are being built or taken apart, green once finished.
- It helps you find a free spot before placing your hologram.
- The setting is saved on your computer and follows you to every world and server.

## Smarter hologram checks
- The hologram now checks its spot again every two seconds. If another farm is removed or the area is freed, the red warning goes away on its own, without moving the hologram.
- The check now works from anywhere you can aim the hologram, not just right next to the table.
- Farms finished before protection existed can now be protected: place the same farm exactly over the old one and the table shows how much of it is already built. Press Build and it only fills the gaps, then protects the farm.

## For server owners and modpacks
- New config file `config/the_dream_table.properties` with `max_blocks_per_second` (1 to 1024, default 256). It caps every build, including Creative ones, and the speed levels follow it.
- New block tag `the_dream_table:protected`. Blocks added to it are never cleared by a build, so modpacks can protect blocks from other mods without code.

## Under the hood
- The table's code was reorganized into smaller parts (materials, build and farm areas), to make future updates safer and easier.
- More automated tests for build speeds and the server limit, now 34 in total, run with every build.
