# The Dream Table 1.1.2-beta
This update is all about multiplayer: friends can now share a table without getting in each other's way, and builds respect protected land.
## Your own session at every table
- Every player now has their own session at a table: their own menu page, chosen farm, delivered materials, material swaps, clipboard, hologram, and build.
- Several players can use the same table at the same time without changing each other's projects. Each player only sees their own hologram and clipboard.
- Two players' farms started from the same table can't overlap. If yours would cross someone else's, the table tells you and won't start it.
- Builds keep going with the pace and materials of the player who started them, even while other players use the table.
- Discarding only affects your own project. Your materials come back to you, never to another player.
- Worlds from earlier versions keep loading. The project already on a table goes to the player who started its build, or else to the first player who opens the table.
## Spawn protection and land claims
- The table now builds with the permissions of the player who started the build.
- A new farm won't start if any part of it touches spawn protection, goes past the world border, or enters a claim you can't build in. It also won't start in Adventure mode.
- If a spot becomes protected during the build, the build stops at that block and tells you where it is. Press Try Again when you're allowed to build there again.
- Breaking blocks in the way also asks claim mods first, so protected blocks stay where they are.
- Discard skips any block the discarding player isn't allowed to break.
- Claim mods that use Fabric's permission checks or block break event are respected.
## Performance
- Table updates sent to players are much smaller. The detailed build records stay on the server and in the save file, which helps a lot during large builds on servers.
- Imported schematics (`.nbt`, `.schem`, `.litematic`) are now read once and remembered. A file is only read again when it changes, so opening the table and clicking through the menu no longer reloads every schematic. Files that fail to load aren't retried on every click either.
- Fixed the schematic list possibly being read while it was still being rebuilt in singleplayer.
## Safety
- A build that hits an unexpected error now pauses instead of affecting the server.
- A block counts as placed only after the table confirms it is really there, so failed placements never use up materials.
