Fall into the Backrooms: endless yellow halls, a camcorder VHS look, camera-head monsters, hazmat impostors, and 4 more levels - parking garage, pipe corridor, a station puzzle and a deadly party. Forge 1.20.1.
The Backrooms
You were walking... and then you fell. Sand kills you, or you drop 6+ blocks, and you wake up in the Backrooms. Everything is filmed on an old camcorder: scanlines, static, REC, a battery icon, smooth camera.
How you get in
- Get killed by falling sand or gravel -> Backrooms
- Fall 6 blocks or more -> Backrooms (even right after you escaped)
- Die in any level and you respawn in the same level
Level 0 - The Backrooms
Endless yellow wallpaper halls, carpet, pillars and buzzing lights. Wall scribbles tell you if the exit is near. Rare supply crates: burgers, water, almond water, bread. Camera-head monsters roam the halls. If one grabs you: full-screen jumpscare. A rescue squad of 4 hazmat men may find you and lead you to the Async base, where guards (shotguns), medics and scientists wait. Climb the ladder at the Main Gate to leave. There is only ONE exit door in the whole level.
Level 1 - Parking Garage
Dark, two floors. Fake hazmat survivors walk up to you - get within 3 blocks and they turn into the monster. Find the flashlight and key upstairs, open the locked storage room downstairs for food and a keycard, then use the keycard on the elevator.
Level 2 - Pipe Dreams
A very long rusty corridor and something is chasing you. Escape it and reach the junction: PARTY or STATION.
The Station
Dark brick corridors, barred windows and a nightmare dog. Get the key from the first room, turn on the power in the fuse box, find fuel, fill the engine and the gate opens.
The Party
Orange walls, party carpet, tables, snacks and balloons. Touch a balloon and the Partygoer comes for you. Reach the exit door at the end.

Installing
Minecraft 1.20.1 + Forge 47.x, Java 17, on both client and server.
