Thaumaturge

I found the crystal in a cave I had walked past a hundred times. It hummed when I picked it up. That night I dreamt of a book I had never read.

Everything is made of something. Not stone, not wood. Something older, written underneath, and once you learn to read it you cannot stop.

The more I take, the more wrong the air tastes. I am writing this down so I remember to be careful.

Thaumaturge is a spiritual successor to Thaumcraft 4 and 6, rebuilt for modern NeoForge.

It is a mod about learning. You start with nothing but a hunch and a crystal, and slowly piece together how the world really works: what things are made of, where magic comes from, and what it costs. Alchemy, wands, spells of your own design, golems, infusion, and a few things best discovered for yourself.

Nothing here is handed to you. Your journal will tell you what you need to know, when you are ready to know it.

Look for crystals underground. Sleep on it. The rest is in the book.
