New features:

  • added an in-world schematic system that allows schematics to be placed/hung near a workbench to unlock new crafting options or to apply special effects
  • added throwing daggers, schematic found in dungeons
  • added a howling blade module for the fuller slot, schematic found in dungeons
  • added sturdy guards that allows limited blocking with swords, schematic found in dungeons
  • added a gilding honing option that increases magic capacity of module, schematic found in nether fortresses, can be combined for stronger improvements
  • added material expertise treatises that may increase stats when crafting major modules, can be bought from villagers
  • added tool efficiency treatises that have a chance to reduce material usage, can be bought from villagers
  • added warforging for double headed tools which turns the tools into potent weapons, warforging schematics can be found in the bastion remnants

Changes:

  • added several weapon-type enchantments for all tool heads
  • items now only apply hit effects and cause positive effects on fully charged swings
  • reworked armor piercing to ignore a % of the targets armor
  • slightly nerfed bow stabilizers
  • increased the amount of nuggets dropped from geodes

Fixes:

  • fixed curios dependency crash
  • fixed item abilities applying their effects even if the target blocked/avoided the attack
  • fixed advancements related to firing chthonic extractors using a crossbow not showing up
  • thrown items now properly apply enchantment effects
  • added max width to workbench tooltips
  • fixed high speed projectiles seemingly going off in the wrong direction
  • fixed stun particles not always showing up
  • fixed stat indicators showing up incorrectly for broken items
  • fixed the integrity bar label sometimes not being localized
  • fixed block crit effect logging lots of warnings
  • fixed reach stat bar showing up when it's not supposed to
  • fixed tool stat bar sometimes showing strange label
  • fixed holosphere breadcrumbs sometimes disappearing in the materials view
  • fixed incorrect durability for some shield plates

Technical changes:

  • moved most methods for modular items over to IModularItem
  • renamed unarmoredDamage => skewering
  • added some better control over synergy bonuses for multislot modules
  • synergy bonus resources are now referenced by folder, synergy resources have to be moved
  • double headed tools now reference improvements by folder instead of individual resources, improvement files for double headed tools have moved around
