An unofficial port of TerraForged that replaces the overworld with large-scale, erosion-shaped landscapes: continents, mountain ranges, rivers and climate-based biomes.

What's new

0.4.3 Beta: Fabric 26.2

This is a beta. There may be problems nobody has run into yet. Please report them on GitHub with your seed, the coordinates and your mod list.

  • Dedicated servers set themselves up. Set level-type=terraforged\:normal in server.properties before the server first creates its world, and start it: the mod now adds its datapack to the new world itself. The old steps (start once, delete the world, copy the datapack in) are no longer needed.
  • Servers can choose a preset. Put a preset's name (for example Huge Biomes) in the server's config/terraforged/default_preset.txt before the first start, and the new world uses it: any built-in preset, or one of your own copied from single-player. The server writes that file, with the list of presets, the first time it starts.
  • Fixed: Terralith could replace TerraForged's terrain. Installed as a datapack, without Lithostitched, on Forge, or on 1.20.1, Terralith brings its own overworld, and a TerraForged world silently generated Terralith's terrain instead. TerraForged now keeps its own overworld and uses Terralith's biomes, their surfaces and its structures. Tested with Terralith on every version and loader.
  • Nothing else changes. Generation is otherwise the same as 0.4.2, existing worlds are left as they are, and worlds set up by hand keep working.

Requires Fabric API.
