What's new

Termal Astra 2.1.8 — Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge)

⭐ Highlight: autocrafting you can steer

Choose which recipe the network uses, tools that wear down instead of being used up, furnaces filled empty-first, and modded machines that learn their recipes from JEI on their own.

Update the server and the players together (the network protocol changed).

🧾 New Order window

  • A bigger window shows the whole plan before you start, in three columns: from the network, to craft (with the machine of each step) and missing. Hover any item for details.
  • Type the amount (numbers and Backspace, Enter starts), besides the buttons and the mouse wheel.
  • Choose the recipe: when an item has more than one recipe (crafting table, furnace, machine), each one shows up as a card. Auto picks the simplest; click another one to use it. Tick Remember and the network always uses that recipe for the item, also when it's an ingredient of another order.

🔨 Tools in recipes

  • Ingredients that come back worn from the grid (a hammer that crushes ore, for example) now use durability, not items: 100 dusts with a 250-durability hammer use that one hammer, which goes back to the network worn. If the durability isn't enough, the network only crafts the hammers that are missing. Before, every craft used up a whole hammer.
  • The most worn tool is used first. Buckets and other leftovers are now counted by the planner too.

🔥 Furnaces: empty ones first

  • Orders fill the empty furnaces first and split the load evenly; blast furnaces and smokers count as twice as fast. Furnaces busy with something else are skipped.
  • Modded machines get their operations in turns, starting with the emptiest one.

📚 Machines learn their recipes from JEI

  • With JEI installed, the Arcane Interface learns on its own the recipes of the modded machines around it (Mekanism, Create, Thermal...), from the JEI categories where the machine is the catalyst. Those machines then join from the Interface's area and run orders without patterns.
  • It happens once per machine type and is saved in the world. A book blinks on the Interface screen while it learns, and the machine's tooltip shows how many recipes it knows. Recipes that need fluids are left out (use a pattern for those).

🃏 Patterns from JEI

  • JEI's [+] now works with every recipe in the pattern editor. From the crafting table, furnace or stonecutter, the pattern pins that recipe (padlock icon) and the network prefers it — for example, netherite scrap with the hammer instead of the furnace.
  • From a modded machine, the pattern's machine comes from JEI (preferring one that is near the Interface).

📖 Guide book

  • The Magic Autocrafting and Arcane Interface entries explain the new window, choosing recipes, tools and JEI recipes.

🔥 Fornalhas: as vazias primeiro

📚 Máquinas aprendem as receitas do JEI

📖 Livro guia

  • As entradas de Autocrafting Mágico e Interface Arcana explicam a janela nova, a escolha de receitas, as ferramentas e as receitas do JEI.
