What's new

Tensura: Monsterization 1.0.0-alpha.1

First public alpha.

  • Vanilla Wolf → Tensura’s existing base Direwolf through persistent loaded environmental exposure.
  • Configurable minimum environmental magicule; only excess above 5,000 contributes and stored progress is retained below the minimum.
  • Calibrated release defaults: multiplier 4/9, threshold 4,000, checks every 100 UUID-staggered ticks.
  • Successful Evolve/Endow naming earns one transition; Subdue keeps Tensura costs/rewards and uses a separate base-energy threshold.
  • Wild and tamed wolves, baby deferral without repeating naming, supported owner/name/posture/health/effect preservation, and conservative transferable-skill preservation.
  • Shared guarded replacement, safe handling of incompatible equipment, native Direwolf initialization and normal later Tensura evolution.
  • Generic internal progression/path architecture and conservative development-build migration with conflict blocking.
  • OP inspect/set/diagnose/stats commands and optional verbose diagnostics, independently disabled by default.
  • Dedicated-server and single-client verification.

Default environmental balance

  • Plains (~500): no natural accumulation.
  • Ancient Forest (~20,000): approximately 3 loaded hours.
  • Barren Land (~46,000): approximately 73.2 loaded minutes.

Known Alpha limitations

Wolf → Direwolf is the only registered path. Two-client synchronization has not been directly verified; full-modpack compatibility and extended performance are not guaranteed. No cascading naming evolution, addon poisoning, new skills, player races, new variants or public extension API. Back up important worlds before testing.
