Temporal_Horizons1.2.0+1.21.1.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Sorry for the delay in posting this update, I've had some family and health issues. It's been a bit of a rough time, but things seem to be looking up again now!
(For those of you who asked me: In the next few days, I'll try to update the mod for Forge and other versions besides 1.21.1)
Thanks for the feedback, I'm always happy to receive new comments on this project (and to hear about any bugs, too).
New Features:
Mob Cage
- Added the Mob Cage, allowing players to capture and transport mobs across different eras.
- Captured mobs retain their original identity, health, and entity data.
- Mobs removed from a historical timeline will no longer appear in subsequent moments of that timeline.
- Mobs can be released into earlier points in time without breaking their original historical records.
Near Past Time Jumper Device
- Added a new device allowing players to travel to specific moments in their gameplay.
- Introduced an interactive timeline with precise temporal navigation.
- Added first-person historical previews displaying the player's character and surroundings.
- Integrated the device with the existing Temporal Instability and Temporal Collapse systems.
- Added the ability to create, rename, and delete temporal checkpoints.
- Checkpoints preserve a 10-minute window around their creation, covering 5 minutes before and after, so you will be able to understand what you were doing in that time.
- Added automatic historical screenshot capture every 5 seconds.
- Each checkpoint displays a thumbnail representing its recorded moment.
Entity Replay System
- Expanded the Temporal Paradox system to support recorded animals and hostile mobs.
- Added historical entity playback using recorded positions, rotations, health, and entity data.
- Historical mobs follow their recorded behavior rather than independent AI.
- Improved persistence of entity replay data across saved games.
Time Travel Safety
- Added proximity checks to prevent an immediate proximity collapse during time travel.
- Added confirmation prompts for time travel actions that could trigger a Temporal Collapse.
Future Eras
- Improved synchronization of player modifications between future eras.
- Improved preservation of player-built structures in Future 3 Billion Years.
- Updated Future 6 Billion Years to correctly remove specific mineralized blocks originating from earlier eras.
- Improved block-origin tracking to distinguish naturally generated blocks from transformed ones.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed chests remaining as invisible containers in future eras.
- Fixed leftover Block Entity data from removed containers.
- Fixed registry references and item identification inconsistencies.
- Fixed issues with the 100 time travels advancement counter.
Planned Features
Multiple Replays (Optional)
- A new optional setting allowing multiple historical player replays to coexist.
- Additional replay sessions will be created through Past 10 Years and Near Past Device time travel.
Let me know if you find any bugs or if you have any other ideas to add to the mod!
