⚠️ Alpha Version

Not recommended to update the mod from old version to this in your current world, as it might incompatible to older systems. But if you think to update it, please read the changelog below and backup your world before doing it. I have included some warning in "Version Compatibility Impactive" section, if written, to help people to see what might be happen after update.

In case of endless game crashing. Try delete the mod folder in Game Directory > saves > Your World > data > tanshugetrees and rejoin the world. This will regenerate trees in new areas, and discontinue old trees that generate from older versions.

Version Compatibility Impactive

  • World data folder has some changes again. This will discontinue old trees that haven't finished placing yet.

Highlights

  • Speed up pre-location speed. By using biome test for waterside detection, instead of using water block test. Also moved Y level to detailed detection.

Gameplay Related

  • No longer skip the test when found a tree to place. This will continue the test until end of list, instead of one per chunk. Make area of trees more better when comes with many species in the same place.
  • Some changes for pack mod version detector. Renamed from "mod_version" to "data_structure_version". Will be staying in the same version until there's something changed, instead of version changed every big update.

Non-Gameplay Related

  • Added try-catch to some array value converter. To protect game crashes by incorrected value type and array out of bound
  • Moved incompatibility error messages from block scan and setting scan to log, instead of in-game chat. So custom packs that supported to other mods will not send errors in-game when not installed that mod.
  • Back to use "LevelAccessor" instead of "WorldGenLevel" in the world gen code. No affect to the game.
  • Some small changes
