beta.47 — Migration, Durability and Interface Fixes
Safe World Migration
-
Restored hidden registrations for the old
fulcrum_*,negotiator_*andbeskar_plaqueidentifiers. -
Old Fulcrum parts are automatically converted into their Snips equivalents.
-
Old Negotiator parts are automatically converted into The Protector equivalents.
-
Beskar Plaques are converted into Beskar Plates.
-
Item counts and saved stack components are preserved during migration.
-
Assembled lightsabers using the old component families are migrated automatically.
Lightsabers
-
Lightsabers no longer lose durability when attacking entities or breaking blocks.
-
Damage stored on lightsabers by older versions is automatically cleared.
-
Reduced excessive blade color overexposure without shaders.
-
Full HDR emission required for shader bloom remains available while a shaderpack is active.
Interface and Lighting
-
Removed blur from the configuration screen opened through Mod Menu.
-
The configuration screen now renders its own sharp background without triggering vanilla screen blur.
-
Increased the default environmental light level from 8 to 9.
-
Increased the default light radius from 4.5 to 5 blocks.
-
Reduced the default light falloff from 2.15 to 2.0 for smoother illumination.
beta.48 — Separate Blade Rendering Paths
-
Separated lightsaber rendering for vanilla Minecraft and active shaderpacks.
-
Without shaders, blades now use a correctly colored
FULL_BRIGHTcore with subtle edge layers. -
Removed the additive rendering pass that could turn green blades into pale cyan or white.
-
When Iris and a shaderpack are active, blades continue using the HDR rendering path required by the edited Complementary shaderpack.
beta.49 — Improved Colors Without Shaders
-
Further improved washed-out blade colors in vanilla rendering.
-
Additive bloom layers are now enabled only while a shaderpack is active.
-
Without shaders, the blade displays a saturated core matching the selected kyber color.
beta.50 — Configuration, Force Lightning and Commands
Gameplay Configuration
-
Added configurable durations for meditation, kyber rituals and the meditation cooldown.
-
All duration values are entered in ticks:
20 ticks = 1 second. -
These settings are available through the in-game configuration screen.
-
Dedicated servers store the settings in
config/ssw-gameplay.properties. -
Configuration changes can be reloaded without restarting the server.
Force Lightning
-
Fixed Force Lightning being invisible in first-person view.
-
The animated lightning arc between the player’s hand and the target now uses its own properly submitted render buffer.
Beskar Furnace
-
Unified the active and inactive furnace designs.
-
The active front now retains the same outer casing as the inactive version.
-
Added missing animation metadata that previously caused both texture frames to appear compressed together.
Commands
-
All mod commands now use the
sswprefix. -
Added
/sswmakequestgiverto turn the targeted villager into a Quest Giver. -
Added
/sswuncrackkyberto remove the cracked state from the held lightsaber without changing its kyber color or other saved data. -
Added
/sswbleedkyberto instantly bleed the held kyber crystal. -
Added
/sswpurifykyberto instantly purify the held kyber crystal. -
Administrative ritual commands bypass karma requirements and ritual duration.
-
Purifying a cracked kyber crystal does not remove its cracked state.
beta.51 — Quests and Raid Rewards
-
Completely removed the Raider Hunt quest.
-
Quest Givers now offer either a general Hostile Hunt or Village Defense quest.
-
Old active Raider Hunt quests are automatically removed when player data is loaded.
-
Every player included in Minecraft’s Hero of the Village list after a successful raid receives 10 Imperial Credits.
-
The reward is granted once per victorious raid and cannot be claimed repeatedly from the same victory.
