Survivor Colonies redefines how you expand your settlement. Instead of waiting for random tavern guests to appear out of thin air, you explore the wilderness, encounter lost survivors, build their trust, and recruit them into your colony.

Features

Survivors in the Wild: Encounter independent NPCs exploring the world. They have full survival routines: they hunt, cook at campfires, eat, sleep in tents, scavenge dropped items, and defend themselves against monsters.

Trust & Recruitment System: You can't just buy citizens. You need to talk to them, trade with them, and earn their trust before they agree to join your colony.

Honest Dialogue Tree System:

No marketing bullshit: This isn't "endless procedurally generated AI slop".

We designed a custom dialogue graph system from the ground up. Writing the framework script took weeks, and generating/cleaning the dialogue trees using a local Gemma3:e4b model took even longer. It’s not flawless, but it’s structured, immersive, and grounded.

MineColonies Population Control:

Disable Tavern Guests: Completely shut off tavern guest spawns to force wilderness recruitment.

Reduce Birthrate: Tweak or lower citizen birthrates so town growth feels earned rather than exponential.

Interior Buildset: Custom decorative blocks and camp/interior build pieces to detail survivor camps and colony buildings.

Living (and Dying) World: Survivors trade, react to danger, seek shelter, and manage their own survival. If they fall in combat, they leave behind a MineColonies grave containing their entire inventory ^^.

Zombie Remains: Optional integration (survivors will actively scavenge and break remains blocks).
