🌟 What is Stick to Slick?

Stick to Slick radically revamps your combat experience by introducing a deep, immersive RPG weapon progression system. Instead of constantly tossing your old swords away and hoarding diamonds, this mod allows you to take a single weapon—starting from a literal Wooden Stick—and evolve it through 50 levels of combat-earned experience into 30 distinct, beautifully modeled, and incredibly powerful God-Tier weapons.

Your weapon becomes a living part of your character. As you fight, it learns. As it learns, it grows.

📈 Core Mechanics: How it Works

1. The Humbling Beginning

You don't craft your first weapon at a dusty crafting table. To begin your journey, you must hold a vanilla Stick in your hand, find a Stone block, and Shift + Right-Click to aggressively rub the stick against the stone. After some intense friction (and great particle effects!), you will carve your very first Starter Stick (Level 1). Your journey begins now.

2. Blood, Sweat, and XP

Fight! Every mob you slay and every point of damage you deal grants your weapon XP. As your weapon levels up (Max Level 50), it natively gains massive stat boosts:

3. The Evolutionary Bottleneck (Hybrid DAG System)

At specific milestone levels (Lv. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40), your weapon will hit a level cap. To break through, you must Evolve it using a Catalyst Item.

The Hybrid Tree: Evolution isn't linear. It's a complex Web (Directed Acyclic Graph). For instance, both a lightweight Dirk and a balanced Arming Sword can be evolved into a Cavalry Saber by feeding them a Gold Ingot Catalyst.
Unique Paths: Do you want a heavy, slow, earth-shattering Maul? Or a lightning-fast, critical-striking Rapier? The catalysts you choose define your build.

⚔️ The Arsenal: 30 Unique Weapons, 9 Tiers

Each of the 30 weapons feels entirely unique, featuring custom 3D Models, bespoke attack animations (3-hit combos), and specific weight tunings.

🌱 Base (Lv. 5): Dagger, Shortsword, Spear, Heavy Club
🛡️ Tier 1 (Lv. 10): Dirk, Arming Sword, Trident, Mace
⚔️ Hybrids (Lv. 15): Saber, Longsword, Lucerne Hammer, Morning Star
🔥 Specializations (Lv. 20): Katana, Bastard Sword, Halberd, Warhammer
💀 Heavy Hybrids (Lv. 25): Nodachi, Claymore, Partisan, Great Maul
🏰 Historical Icons (Lv. 30): Zweihänder, Winged Hussar Lance, Executioner's Axe
🐉 Mythological (Lv. 40): Dragon Slayer, Gungnir, Void Crusher
🌌 Godly Finales (Lv. 50):
- Genesis: The legendary blade of creation.
- Spear of Longinus: The piercing spear of destiny.
- Atlas' Burden: A maul forged from the weight of the heavens.

✨ Godly Active Abilities (Custom Traits)

This isn't just about higher sweep damage. Once you reach the later tiers (Level 25+), weapons unlock hard-coded, spectacular Custom Traits:

🩸 God Slayer: Deal massive percentage-based True Damage to bosses.
🌀 Fear Aura (Dreadnought Axe): Passively terrify and route nearby enemies.
🌋 Earthquake (Void Crusher/Atlas): Slam the ground, creating a physics-based shockwave that severely damages and throws nearby mobs into the air.
🌪️ Windpiercer Dash: A sudden burst of unbelievable speed to close the gap.

🎨 Premium Visuals and "Vibe"

Stick to Slick was built from the ground up to feel like a modern, AAA game interface.

💎 Glassmorphism GUI: Press your bind (default T) to open the Weapon Upgrade Menu. This UI features a stunning, glowing, translucent aesthetic with a fully rotating 3D preview of your exact weapon.
🧬 The Evolution Web UI: A dedicated tab plots out the entire 30-weapon Hybrid Evolution Tree dynamically, showing you exactly what Catalyst items you need to reach your dream God Weapon.
✨ Immersive Level-Ups: Leveling up triggers a glorious screen-wide vignette flash, epic sound cues, and floating textual fanfares.
💨 Particle Auras: While held, high-tier weapons emit ambient, animated particles that match their tier's theme (e.g., golden falling stars for Legendary, deep void sparks for Godly).

⚙️ How to Play (Getting Started)

Grab a vanilla Stick.
Hold Shift and Right-Click repeatedly on any Stone block until it transforms.
Kill mobs. Watch the sleek XP bar at the bottom center of your screen fill up.
At Level 5, hold a Catalyst (like Cobblestone, Iron, Gold, etc.) in your off-hand.
Hold Shift and Right-Click the air to instantly trigger the Evolution logic and transform your weapon!

(Note: If you have Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Sugar, or Slimeballs in your offhand during a Shift+Right Click, you can manually inject bonus sub-stats directly into the weapon!)

Commands for Server Admins/Testers

/ss gui - Manually force open the Glass Upgrade Interface.
/ss list - Ping the chat with a beautifully formatted list of all 30 Weapon IDs, sorted by Tier.
/ss give <weapon_id> - Automatically generate and grant yourself any weapon in the game.
/ss maxout - Instantly elevate your held weapon to Level 50 with perfectly maxed-out bonus stats.
