⭐ Standborne: Bizarre Stands
Pierce the arrow. Awaken your Stand. Master the bizarre.
Standborne is a full-scale addonpack for the Palladium mod that brings JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to Minecraft. Craft a Stand Arrow, drive it into yourself, and awaken one of 41 hand-built Stands — each a custom 3D model that manifests beside you and performs its own attack animations. Forge a Requiem Arrow to evolve the chosen few into their higher forms. Rip a Stand out of yourself and save it on a Disc for later. And banish your foes into two custom pocket dimensions from which there is no easy way out.
You keep your Stand through death. Only one Stand at a time. There is no going back — only forward, into the bizarre.

Each Stand is a complete power set with its own abilities, effects and visual identity:

⚔️ Anubis — The Cursed Blade and Its Stand
Anubis is the only Stand that comes with its own weaponry. Two blades — the **Anubis Blade** and the **Khopesh** — each ship with a sheathed and drawn form. Unsheathe with a key, land an iai slash, and the Stand manifests over your shoulder to strike alongside you. The blade is soulbound while you hold the Stand, and a safety net swaps the correct form back into your hand if anything interrupts the draw.
💿 The Disc System (Whitesnake)
Stands aren't lost forever — they can be recorded. Hold a **Stand Disc** and sneak-click to rip your current Stand out of yourself and onto the disc, leaving you clean. Play a recorded disc and that Stand is yours again, the disc going blank. Trade them, hoard them, or keep a backup of your favourite before risking a Requiem evolution. One Stand at a time still applies — recording is the only way to hold a second one in reserve.
🌑 Two Pocket Dimensions
Two bespoke dimensions exist solely as prisons. **Mr. President** opens a sealed pocket room; **Death Thirteen** drags a sleeping foe into a striped-circus nightmare where the exits don't work until the timer runs out. Both are built at runtime out of barrier shells, beds and candy-stripe tents — no two banishments land on top of each other, and nothing banished ever piles up forever.
🦇 Vampirism
Forge a **Stone Mask** and pierce yourself to become a vampire: night vision, mist form, wall-crawling, and a bat transformation. The sun is now your enemy. When you're done, the **Rokakaka** fruit cures you cleanly. An **Aja Stone** and a **Green Baby** unlock the path from Shadow The World to The World — and beyond.

📦 REQUIREMENTS
This is an addonpack, not a standalone mod. You need these installed:

💾 INSTALLATION — please read, there is an extra step!
1. Install Fabric for 1.20.1 and all the required mods above.
2. Drop `standborne-1.1.1.jar` into your `mods` folder.
3. Open the jar with any zip program (7-Zip, WinRAR, or rename to `.zip`). Inside you'll find two script files:
- `standborne_server.js` → copy to `.minecraft/kubejs/server_scripts/`
- `standborne_roster.js` → copy to `.minecraft/kubejs/server_scripts/`
- `standborne_client.js` → copy to `.minecraft/kubejs/client_scripts/`
4. Launch the game.
⚠️ Step 3 is not optional. The Stand Arrow, Requiem evolution, Disc system, vampirism, banishment dimensions and the repair sweep all live in those scripts. Without them the items exist but nothing happens.
On a server
Put the jar in the server's `mods` folder **and** `standborne_server.js` in the server's `kubejs/server_scripts/`. Every player needs the jar and `standborne_client.js` on their own client. Every command runs at server permission level 4, so non-op players get the full mod — no operator status required.
🎮 QUICK START
1. Craft a **Stand Arrow** — arrow on top, Nether Star in the middle, feather below (a vertical centre column).
2. Hold it and **sneak + right-click** to drive the arrow into yourself. It hurts. You get a random Stand. *(Sneak is required — a plain right-click would consume the arrow the moment you picked it up.)*
3. Open the **Palladium power menu** (bottom-right) and use **Summon**. Your Stand appears floating over your shoulder.
4. Bind the attack abilities to keys in Palladium's ability bar and fight. **Dismiss** puts the Stand away again.
5. Craft a **Requiem Arrow** (Stand Arrow + 2 Totems of Undying + 6 Gold) and sneak-click to evolve the six Stands that have a higher form.
Warning: one Stand per person — a new arrow replaces the old one. You keep your Stand through death. To save a Stand for later, record it onto a **Stand Disc** first. To exit vampirism, eat a **Rokakaka**.
