Every story worth telling starts with a single thread.
Spinning begins at the hearth: a wheel to sit at, wool to draw out, and a rhythm you learn by ear until your foot finds the click and the heddle sings. From that wheel come threads with quiet magic of their own, drawn from old tales of fate, nettles and swan-wings, ready to bind and mend and string the world together.
In time, the threads will go further. Looms and embroidery hoops, knitting needles and crochet hooks will join the cottage, turning dyed yarn into cloth, cloaks, linings, banners and soft little companions, with something special waiting for anyone who spun their own. One wheel, one strand, and a whole wardrobe of folklore still to unwind.
