When a player's health reaches zero, the mod immediately intercepts the event, preventing true death by healing them slightly and whisking them away through a cinematic "blackout" sequence accompanied by atmospheric woodland audio. Instead of a traditional respawn, the player is safely returned to their home, a sanctuary marked by lingering, mystical particles, while a calming message from "The Elder Hearth" appears in chat to signal their safe arrival. By balancing this narrative rescue with a minor, non-destructive experience penalty, the mod transforms failure into a cozy, atmospheric part of the world-building, ensuring that the game remains welcoming, stress-free, and cohesive for players of all ages.
