Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
The 100-skill constellation is complete
The final constellation nodes are now implemented, connected to their proper
branches, and displayed in the custom `Y` skill-tree screen.
- **Mana Reserve IX** adds 500,000 maximum mana. The global mana cap remains
9,999,999.
- **Mana Recovery IX** adds 8 mana per regeneration pulse, raising the combined
Mana Flow regeneration bonus to 24 per pulse.
- **Spell Memory VIII** adds 4 equipped custom-spell slots, raising the normal
loadout limit from 14 to 18.
- **Overchannel III** upgrades the selectable `V` active to 50% more spell
power for 24 seconds. It deliberately costs 2,000 mana and has a 30-second
cooldown.
- **Workshop Efficiency III** lowers the mana cost of the portable Furnace,
Blast Furnace, Grindstone, and Anvil by 75%.
- **Runic Throughput VI** lets the Arcane Vault queue serve 8 additional
machines at once, raising the branch's combined bonus to 24 machines.
- **Arcane Transfer IV** makes Arcane Importers and Exporters move 16 times
their selected base amount per pulse.
- **Search Magic IV** adds a 32-block-per-pixel zoom level with a 1,536-block
radius.
- **Rift Recall III** lowers emergency recall to 250 mana and a 15-second
cooldown. Arriving grants five seconds of Resistance II and Slow Falling.
The constellation layout was extended and tightened so all 100 skills retain
the straight trunk-and-branch presentation while remaining scrollable and
zoomable. The new nodes also have their own correct icons, descriptions,
requirements, and reward text.
## Arcane Importer and Exporter mana costs
Arcane Importers and Exporters now use the player's mana when they successfully
move items.
- A successful pulse costs **4 base mana plus 1 mana per started group of 16
moved items**.
- Moving 1–16 items costs 5 mana, 32 items cost 6 mana, and 64 items cost 8
mana.
- The cost uses the number of items that actually moved.
- If the owner cannot pay, the complete pulse pauses before moving anything.
- The conduit automatically resumes when enough mana regenerates.
- Empty, full, blocked, disconnected, offline, and redstone-waiting pulses are
free.
- The configuration screen now shows the effective skill-modified transfer
amount, maximum possible cost, last moved amount, last mana cost, and live
Ready, Moved, Paused, or Waiting for redstone state.
Importer transfers now preserve the moved item's identity correctly when
crediting a queued Runic Fabricator job. This fixes returned machine output
occasionally failing to advance the job's completed amount.
## Mana-powered Runic Fabricator jobs
Runic Fabricator jobs now pay mana for every complete batch they successfully
send to an attached machine.
The per-batch cost is:
`12 base mana + 2 mana per occupied input slot + 1 mana per started group of 8 input items`
Examples:
- One item in one input slot costs 15 mana.
- A furnace Input + Fuel pattern containing two total items costs 17 mana.
- A nine-slot recipe containing one item in every slot costs 32 mana.
- A 128-item batch spread across two input slots costs 32 mana.
Queued requests do not pay the full cost in advance. Each batch is checked and
paid separately immediately before it is dispatched.
### Safe job pausing
- Jobs now have a dedicated **Paused — need X mana** state.
- A batch that cannot be paid for removes nothing from the Astral Vault or
Mortal Pack and inserts nothing into the machine.
- The persistent job and every undispatched batch remain intact.
- The job retries automatically after mana regenerates.
- Queuing, cancelling, idle scans, missing-ingredient checks, full-machine
checks, unloaded machines, and already-dispatched work waiting for output are
free.
- If a modded machine accepts the simulated insertion but rejects the real
insertion, Spellweaver restores the source inventories and rolls back the
reserved mana, including the original regeneration timer.
Once a paid batch has entered another mod's machine, that machine controls its
own internal processing. Cancelling the Vault job never deletes or pulls back
ingredients that were already dispatched.
## Automation interface improvements
- The `I` menu's Machine Pattern tooltip now shows the requested amount,
returned amount, dispatched amount, exact job state, and next-batch mana
cost.
- Queue confirmation messages show the mana cost of each batch before work
begins.
- The Runic Fabricator header shows the active job count for the selected
machine tab.
- Its live badge can report **Next X mana**, **Working**, **Need X mana**,
**Needs items**, **Machine full**, **Machine missing**, or **Offline**.
- Hovering the badge explains when mana is charged and confirms that unsent
ingredients remain safe.
