Modular Explosive revamp

You might know them, you might not. The two modular explosives were always a bit of a pain to work with - both from a players and a code standpoint.

Parametric Mining Device throwable explosive, can also be placed on walls to break blocks in that direction Now comes preenchanted with Power 1

Threat Conflux basically a mine; explodes when something touches it Now comes preenchanted with Sharpness 1

As you can see, they now come preenchanted! The way they work has been completely redone, now working off of enchantments. The way they are set up now makes them usable instantly and a lot easier to understand.

Enchanting is a thing every player is familiar with, so it made a lot of sense to use what's already there. You can enchant them with a whole range of enchants which will work just like you would expect them to:

  • Fortune/Silk Touch/Resonance apply their effects to the broken blocks
  • Looting, Disarming and Treasure Hunter do exactly what they should
  • Flame will spawn fire

If there is any damaging enchant on the item (like the preenchanted Threat Conflux) the explosion will deal damage to entities. If the item has Power (like the preenchanted Parametric Mining Device), it will break blocks. All drops will be preserved and the explosion radius scales with distance.

How about Unbreaking or Indestructible to preserve them? Exuberance for more XP? Voiding? We will still be tweaking them here and there the next few days. Let us know what you think!

I did not manage to update the guidebook entry in time though. Sorry!

Config System / Dependencies

Spectrum's config has been moved to the Neoforge config system. You don't need to install Cloth Config anymore. The only required dependencies now are Revelationary, Modonomicon & Curios.

Transition from Trinkets to Curios

All trinkets have been revamped and moved around a bit where required. Where Trinkets always had single 'Gloves', Curios considers gloves to always be a pair, for example. Spectrum now uses the following slots: Belt, Face, Feet, Hands, Head, Necklace, Palette, Pin, Ring x2 The 'Crown' slot is gone, for example.

New Data Loaders

  • You can now register colors for items & fluids via datapacks. This data is used for the particles for items in the Fusion Shrine, Item Bowls & more.
  • Biome darkness, fog, tint & the data like colors for the dimension shader can now be modified, too. You can apply those effects to biomes of other mods, too!
  • Treasure Hunter drops are now configurable. You can add drops for mob heads from other mods, if they have head items!

Other fancy new features

  • Things that can access items stored in items can now pull stacks out of Bottomless Bundles
  • Erasers won't spawn midair anymore
  • the guidebook can now be placed in lecterns

Known Issues

  • EMI does not pick up enchanted stacks from the creative menu (such as Oblivion Pick, filled ink flasks)
  • Bottomless Bundles & Omni Accels do not render the items they contain / loaded with
  • The Deeper Down has no sound reverb
  • The modular explosive guidebook page is not updated yet

Known Incompats

  • Colorful Hearts (Minor): completely overrides neos heart rendering, making hearts unable to be modified by divinity / deadly poison
