Changelog

Finally! The first release for the 1.15.2 version of Spartan Weaponry.

This is mostly the same as the 1.14.4 version.

 

Additions:

- Added config options to change the "magnitude" of certain Weapon Traits. This will allow you to change certain damage bonuses, reach values, sweep damage ratios, etc.

 

Balance Changes:

- There has been a major overhaul in weapon balance due to certain weapons being a bit too overpowered, and others being completely useless (looking at the Quarterstaff in particular)

  Most of the weapons have received buffs though. As such, you will find that some of your favorite weapons might have different damage values than you are used to.

 

- Dagger damage buffed from [2.5 to 4.0] to [2.5 to 5.5]
- Saber damage nerfed from [4.5 to 6.0] to [3.5 to 5.0] resulting in bonus damage of 10.0
- Rapier damage nerfed from [2.5 to 4.0] to [2.0 to 3.5] resulting in bonus damage of 10.5
- Greatsword damage nerfed from [6.0 to 12.0] to [4.0 to 8.5]
- Hammer damage changed from [6.0 to 9.0] to [5.0 to 11.0]
- Warhammer damage buffed from [4.0 to 7.0] to [4.0 to 8.5]
- Spear damage buffed from [4.5 to 6.0] to [5.5 to 7.0]
- Halberd damage nerfed from [6.5 to 14.0] to [5.0 to 9.5]
- Pike damage buffed from [4.0 to 5.5] to [4.0 to 7.0]
- Throwing Knife damage buffed from [1.5 to 3.0] to [1.5 to 4.5] resulting in bonus damage of 9.0
- Battleaxe damage nerfed from [5.0 to 11.0] to [4.0 to 10.0]
- Flanged Mace damage changed from [4.0 to 7.0] to [3.0 to 7.5] resulting in bonus damage of 11.5
- Glaive damage buffed from [4.0 to 7.0] to [4.0 to 8.5]
- Quarterstaff damage significantly buffed from [1.5 to 4.5] to [3.0 to 7.5]

 

Longsword, Club, Cestus, Lance, Tomahawk and Javelin damage remains unchanged.

 

IMPORTANT: If the rebalancing is not desirable for you, then the changes can be reverted. You will need to change the values in the config file. A config file has been provided to change these values back (except for the Quarterstaff damage, which *severely* needing buffing), found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13giYifH6YC5w18H1TF-u3jsTDFkUeF4V/view?usp=sharing

Place the config file in the config folder in your mod instance, overwriting the old one to change them back.
