Solo Gates

Solo Gates is a dungeon-progression mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 that introduces a rank-based gate system inspired by solo leveling mechanics. Fight your way through increasingly dangerous dimensional gates, earn currency, and prove yourself as the ultimate hunter.

How It Works

Gates randomly appear in the Overworld — glowing portals of different colors, each representing a rank. Step inside, survive the waves of enemies, and return victorious. The harder the gate, the better the rewards.

Each gate teleports you into a dedicated Dungeon dimension — a flat, deep dark arena where you face a set number of enemies scaled to the gate's rank. Clear them all to open the return portal. Fail, and the dungeon collapses — releasing the mobs into the Overworld.

Rank System

Features

Rank Armor Sets Five fully custom armor sets, one per rank — each with unique textures and color schemes ranging from dark charcoal (E) to near-black with glowing red cracks (S).

Currency System Gates drop rank-specific coins — Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum — used in the in-game shop to purchase gear and resources.

Advancements 11 custom advancements tracking your progression : first gate clears per rank, milestone completions (10 / 40 / 100 gates), and boss gate victories.

Collapse Mechanic If you die inside a gate, it collapses — and the remaining mobs invade the Overworld. Don't underestimate your rank.

Fully Configurable Gate spawn rates, mob lists per rank, reward pools, HP multipliers, cooldowns, and more — all tunable via the server config file.

Multiplayer Compatible Gates are instanced per player. Multiple hunters can each have their own active gate simultaneously.
