New Dimension: The Abyssal Depths

• A realm flooded by endless oceans and shimmering blue haze.
• Built from Aquaslate, a smooth and eerie stone corrupted by Rift energy.
• No block variants - Aquaslate resists shaping due to Rift instability.
• Water stretches infinitely, making this the best place to gather water and explore its calm yet unsettling stillness.
• Expect future activity here... this is only the beginning (more stuff coming next update).

New Item: Key of the Abyss

• Unlocks access to the Abyssal Depths.
• Crafted using the Key Blueprint + Water Bucket + Shadow Core.
• As the first Rift Key, it introduces you to a new stage of dimensional travel.

New Block: Aquaslate

• Found throughout the Abyssal Depths.
• Has no crafting variants due to instability.

Progression Updates

• The Abyssal Depths now sit below the Underdepths in the dimensional chain.
• The Key System continues to expand - get ready for new Rift Keys in the future.
• Adds a calm but mysterious layer between the familiar Void and the chaos to come…

Balance & Notes

• Water can now be freely gathered in the Abyssal Depths - a peaceful but eerie place to restock and regroup (just make sure to hold your breath!).
• Fixed Shadow Lurkers spawning in other dimensions.

This update marks the start of the Rift arc - the point where reality begins to split.
