The Shadowed Depths Update - 1.2.0

It’s time to bring the Void Dimension roaring back with the biggest expansion yet!

This update adds a whole new dimension, dangerous new mobs, powerful upgrade systems, and a brand-new progression path through the Void, Underdepths, and even the End!

New Dimension: The Underdepths

• A whole new layer beneath the Void.
• Enter using the Key of the Deep (see Keys section below).
• Features new building blocks like Shadowstone (with full variants).

Two new advancements:

• From The Bottom – Enter the Underdepths.
• To The Top – Escape the Underdepths.

New Mob: Shadow Lurker

• When normal Lurkers fall into the Underdepths, they don’t die - they transform.
• These mobs are ranged attackers who shoot Void Essences at you.
• Tougher, creepier, and much more dangerous than their surface cousins.

New Weapons & Upgrades

• Void Dagger – A sharp weapon born of the Void.
• Shadow Dagger – Upgrade your Void Dagger in an anvil using a Shadow Fang to unlock a darker, stronger blade.

Keys & Dimension Travel

Introducing the Key System – powerful items that let you travel between realms!

• Key Blueprint – Base item to craft all keys.
• Key of the Void – Teleport to the Void.
• Key of the End – Teleport to the End.
• Key of the Deep – Teleport to the Underdepths. To craft, Upgrade the Key of the Void with a Noctium Block + Void Core.

Be aware that they have a durability of 128, so make sure to craft a few if you're a dimension-hopper!

This makes dimension-hopping smoother, balanced, and progression-based!

New Materials & Crafting

• Void Stick – A mysterious crafting ingredient.
• Void Dust – Dark particles with crafting potential.
• Void Core – A rare, powerful resource from the Void.
• Shadow Core – Crafted using Void Cores, Void Dust, and Void Essence.

New Blocks

• Shadowstone – The main block of the Underdepths

Balance Changes

• Reworked Noctium Apple recipe for progression consistency (now requires a Golden Apple).

It’s been a long time coming, but the Void Dimension is officially back on track. This update marks the start of a new wave of content, and the journey is only going deeper from here…
