Solar Apocalypse is a survival mod for Forge 1.20.1 that recreates the atmosphere of the classic “solar apocalypse” mods once known to Minecraft.

With each passing day, the power of the sun grows stronger:

Grasslands wither away
Water sources evaporate
Trees and forests burst into flames
Deserts turn to glass
Every entity and item exposed on the surface burns

This mod prioritizes atmosphere and world destruction over performance optimization.
No performance tweaks are included.

Gameplay Progression

Day 2: Grass gradually withers, turning the world brown and lifeless
Day 3: Water on the surface evaporates—ponds, rivers, and lakes dry up, with smoke and evaporation sounds echoing everywhere
Day 4: Trees and leaves spontaneously combust in sunlight, turning forests into hellish infernos
Day 5 onward: Every entity (player/animal/item) under sunlight catches fire, and sand turns to glass

Features

A revival of the classic end-of-the-world mod, updated for modern Minecraft (Note: The sun itself does not physically get larger.)
Underground and indoors are safe, but the surface is threatened by relentless apocalypse events
No performance optimization for the sake of atmosphere (be prepared for potential FPS drops and server lag!)
All behavior is faithfully based on a single reference video—no additional features beyond what’s shown there

Solar Apocalypseは、かつて存在した“終末MOD”の雰囲気を再現した、 Forge 1.20.1対応のサバイバルMODです。

ワールドに降り注ぐ太陽の力が日ごとに強まり、

草原が枯れ
水が蒸発し
木や森が燃え盛り
砂漠がガラスに変わり
地表に出ている生物やアイテムも炎上

本MODは「負荷軽減」より「雰囲気・世界観優先」です。
パフォーマンスに関する最適化は一切していません。
（導入時はご自身の環境で十分にご注意ください）

進行・ゲーム内容

2日目: 草が徐々に枯れ、世界が茶色く変化していく
3日目: 地表の水が蒸発。池や川、湖が干上がり、煙と蒸発音が響く
4日目: 木や葉が日光で自然発火。森が地獄のような火の海に
5日目以降: 日光下のすべてのエンティティ（プレイヤー/動物/アイテム）が燃え、砂がガラス化

特徴 / Features

「昔懐かしい終末MOD」を現代に対応させました。 ※太陽は大きくなりません。
地下や屋内は安全だが、地表はすべて終末の脅威にさらされる
負荷対策は“雰囲気重視”のため非対応（FPS低下やサーバー過負荷に注意！）
とある動画のみが情報源のため、それ以外の機能はありません。
