Hidden rooms, built the way real ones are. Doors and hatches are faced with the very wall they are set into, peepholes are drilled through stone, caches are chiselled behind a block's face, and secret levers and buttons look exactly like a bookshelf, a flower pot, a lantern, a torch or a carpet. Nothing can be walked through: every secret is masonry and a hidden spring. A little honey even silences the hinges.
🚪 Features
- 🚪 Hidden Door and Hidden Hatch: faced with the wall or floor around them, with no handle on the hidden side.
- 👁️ Peephole: drill one with a Hand Auger and look through the wall from up close, while its far side shows nothing.
- 🧱 Hidden Cache: chisel one with a Mason's Chisel. Nine slots behind a wall block's face.
- 🔘 Spring Switch: turns a whole wall block into a button, or a floor block into a pressure plate.
- 📚 Secret levers and buttons that look like the plain block: Secret Bookshelf, Secret Flower Pot, Secret Lantern, Secret Soul Lantern, Secret Torch and secret carpets in every colour and in moss.
- 🍯 Silent hinges: a honey bottle silences doors, trapdoors, gates, pistons, buttons, levers, plates, chests and more.
- 🕵️ No giveaways: pick-block and Jade show only the block a secret passes for.
🚀 Getting started
- Craft a Hidden Door from any wooden door and an iron ingot.
- Leave a door-sized opening in a wall. Stand on the side that should look like plain wall and place the door into the opening: it takes the look of the wall around it.
- From the inside you open it by hand. From the hidden side only redstone opens it: use a Spring Switch on a wall block next to the door, and that block becomes its button.
- Drill a Peephole beside the door with a Hand Auger, so you can see who is outside before you open.
