Overview

SkilNeeded transforms your Minecraft experience by introducing a deep skill progression system. Every action you take — mining stone, chopping trees, fighting mobs, casting a fishing line — earns you experience in a dedicated skill. Level up your skills to unlock better tools, stronger weapons, and superior equipment.

No more picking up a diamond sword on day one. Earn it.

Farming	Till soil, break crops and earth	Better hoes and shovels — also grants a global XP bonus up to +25% at max level
Foraging	Chop logs, leaves and wood	Better axes
Strength	Deal melee damage with swords and axes	Better swords and axes
Archery	Hit mobs with arrows	Spectral arrows at Lv.10, tipped arrows at Lv.15
Fishing	Catch fish and loot	Better loot tables — enchanted books at Lv.10, treasure books at Lv.15
Health	Regenerate hearts after taking damage	Better armor tiers

Features

7 independent skills, each with their own XP pool and level
Incremental XP curve — the higher your level, the more XP required (100 × level^1.586)
Tool and armor restrictions — items are silently blocked if your skill level is too low
Item tooltips — every restricted item shows its requirements with a green ✔ or red ✘ based on your current levels
Fishing loot system — fishing rewards scale with your Fishing level, with rare treasure enchantments only available at higher levels
Farming XP bonus — a high Farming level grants a global XP multiplier across all skills (up to +25%)
Persistent data — your skill progress is saved to your player data and survives restarts and rejoins
Skill screen — press K to open a clean skill progress screen showing all your levels, XP, and progress bars
All skills start at level 1 — you're never locked out from the beginning
