Your server has 12 cores. Minecraft ticks its world on one.
Every tick, your server walks through your dimensions one after the other. The Overworld finishes, then the Nether starts, then the End, then every modded dimension your pack adds. All on a single core, while eleven others sit idle.
Sisyphe ticks them all at the same time, one core each.
Sisyphe is the French name of Sisyphus, the man condemned to push his boulder uphill forever. Sisyphe pushes the boulder so your server doesn't.
- ✅ Server-side only. Your players install nothing. Works in singleplayer too.
- ✅ It cannot mix your worlds up. Each dimension is ticked by exactly one thread, ever. Cross-dimension teleports are held and replayed on the main thread inside the same tick.
- ✅ It measures itself.
/sisypheshows how many milliseconds per tick it is actually saving you. Not a promise. Your number, on your server. - ✅ One command to switch off.
/sisyphe offand the server behaves exactly like vanilla, with the mod still installed.
