Can you add a 1.12.2 version. Running a 1.12.2 server with my kids an it requires it to be loaded in curse to load.
Please Up Date it to 1.15.2 Version, It's very Useful
How do I add a mod enchant on this mod? I have been looking for a json file and havent found anything and I also tried to config the mod through the mod list ingame but it didnt work. Please can someone explain this to me?
In reply to typixelhaspie:
The config file will be under: .Minecraft/config/simplyenchanting
You'll want to grab a JSON editor and open up recipes.json to add or modify the crafting recipes. To make sure you get actual books, you have to ensure you have the internal identifiers for the mods correct (I don't know if that's proper terminology). I have gotten apotheosis to work so far, and I'm working on unique enchantments and so many enchantments rn. After those, I'm gonna see if I can add modded items into the recipes.
Hope this helps!

Could you share the json code? I have apotheosis as well but I'm not sure where to find the modded enchants IDs. If I can get that to work, there are a few other enchant mods I'd like to try.
Has this mod been deleted?? I have a custom world of mods made and this mod was beyond amazing on another mod pack I had in the past, but it is my missing puzzle piece. I loved that when you put your mouse over an enchantment, it showed which weapons or pieces of armor it could be used on. If it is deleted, please tell me if there is another mod that does that
I honestly think this is a better enchanting system than the default.
Hey, how du I use the "mending" enchantment ? I put it on my Pickaxe and now...?
In reply to Forge_User_45745718:
Look at the wiki for Mending. It's probably the best possible enchantment.
For every EXP orb, your tool or armor item is repaired by two durability points
Edit: how do you delete
I am on 1.12 and I added modded enchants to it and now I cant see recipes in the enchanter. The enchantments still work but was wondering if there a fix so I can see the recipes in game instead of looking at the config every time
Dropping a friendly comment to let you know I've linked here from CityCraft as I'm using this mod on the modded server there. Excellent work!
not compatible with The Lapis Stays in Enchanting Table Mod, makes the book enchanter act like a normal enchanting table
is there a way of getting higher level enchanted books in the enchanter?
In reply to Forge_User_63493804:
Hi. Awesome mod tnx. Just one question. Would it be possible to change the recipe for loot enchantment? Skulls are so hard to get.
In reply to Forge_User_64502526:
You may wish to push for a 1.12.1 update, should be pretty straight forward/quick. But 1.12 identified a duplication bug that's been plaguing people in multiplayer. It's pushing a lot of mod authors to skip 1.12 altogether.
Whenever I click on the Book Enchanter it just have the same GUI as a normal enchanting table... ???
is a great mod, i do a little (Review/Tutorial) in spanish. Thanks for your great work
The mod work in minecraft 1.12.1 and 1.12.2 :P
I am new to this, but would it be possible to port this to work on 1.7.10, or is very difficult to go backward? It appears to be exactly what I have been looking for.
Thanks!
