Description
Simple Tree Farm
Simple Tree Farm is a compact, server-friendly tree harvester for Fabric. It captures nearby tree growth, mirrors the generated tree into a persistent virtual world using the same 1:1 coordinates, and harvests the virtual blocks over time without placing the full tree into the real world.
Features
• Watches for saplings growing within eight blocks of the farm.
• Cancels the real growth event and creates the same tree in its virtual world.
• Harvests one simulated block every ten ticks.
• Shows break particles at the matching real-world position.
• Plays the appropriate block-breaking sound so you can hear what it is working on.
• Inserts vanilla block drops into inventories touching any of the farm's six faces.
• Pauses safely if no adjacent inventory has room, so drops are never lost.
• Requires an axe in an adjacent inventory before breaking virtual logs.
• Damages the axe exactly as a player would, including vanilla Unbreaking behavior.
• Stores up to 4,096 virtual blocks.
How to use
1. Craft a Simple Tree Farm using the recipe below.
2. Place it within eight blocks of the saplings you want it to manage.
3. Place a chest, barrel, hopper, or another inventory directly against any face of the farm.
4. Put an axe in an adjacent inventory. The farm needs it to harvest logs and will apply normal durability damage.
5. Let the saplings grow normally. When growth is triggered, the farm captures the tree and begins harvesting it virtually.
6. Right-click the farm with an empty hand to check its queued virtual blocks and waiting drops.
