ToolGuard
Stop breaking your enchanted tools by accident.
ToolGuard is a small, lightweight, client-side mod that protects your tools when they are about to break, so you can repair them instead of losing them forever.
FrameWork is needed Framework
Features
- Low durability protection: mining and attacking are blocked once a tool is down to a few uses left (default 3).
- Early warning: an action bar message appears when a tool first runs low (10% durability), so you're never surprised.
- Works on all your gear: pickaxes, axes, shovels, hoes, swords, shears, maces and tridents.
- Smart: instant-break blocks like grass and flowers don't trigger it, and Creative mode is ignored.
- Override when you need it: hold Left Alt (rebindable) to use the tool anyway.
- Configurable: change the protection threshold, toggle warnings, or turn it off entirely.
- Tiny and safe: client-side only, no mixins, no server install needed.

FAQ
Does it work on servers? Yes. It's client-side, so no server install is needed.
Will it stop me using a tool I want to finish off? Hold Left Alt to override the protection at any time.
Does it work with Mending and Unbreaking? Yes. It simply watches the tool's remaining durability, so any enchantments work as normal.
Does it affect Creative mode? No. Protection is ignored in Creative.
Will it block me opening chests or placing blocks? No. It only guards mining blocks and attacking mobs.
