What's new
v8.0 - New Station Database & Voting
- Improved: The station browser now uses the Simple Online Radio database instead of the third-party Radio Browser API.
- Added: Voting — a heart next to the status line votes for the station you are listening to (5 votes per day, one per station, resetting at midnight).
- Added: An Add Station button appears when a search finds nothing, so a missing station can be suggested without leaving the game.
- Improved: Favorites for stations that do not broadcast their name now use the database name, marked with [DB]; manually entered URLs are marked [URL].
⚠️ Note: v8.0 switches the station browser from the third-party catalogue to the Simple Online Radio database — every station is added and verified by hand, so the list is smaller, but it brings voting and a faster, smoother browser. If you would rather keep the huge catalogue of thousands of stations, stay on v7.1.
