Simple Mob Balance

Adjust the health and attack damage of individual mobs with straightforward per-entity multipliers. Use it to tune a few problem mobs or rebalance a larger modpack without changing their AI, equipment, armor, drops, or spawning rules.

AI usage disclaimer: This mod was developed with AI-agent assistance. I reviewed the work step by step during development and test releases in my personal Cleanroom modpack with 300+ mods.

Configuration

Each entry uses:

entity_id;damage_multiplier;health_multiplier

For example:

minecraft:zombie;1.5;2.0

This gives zombies 1.5× damage and 2× maximum health. Use 1.0 to leave either value unchanged. Restart after editing the configuration.

Damage Scope

The damage multiplier applies to direct attacks and attributable projectile impacts, not secondary damage such as fire or explosions.

Installation

In multiplayer, this mod is required only on the server.
