What's new

Simple Helicopter 0.22.43

First update since the initial 0.22.40 release.

  • Fixed multiplayer sling loads dropping boats with players aboard. Boat passengers stay aboard when the cargo is released.
  • Improved dismount placement beside the occupied seat, with a nearby ground search and a higher exit position.
  • Boarding and seat switching now show only the seat name. Dismounting no longer displays a message.
  • Added a confirmation message when attached cargo is released.
  • Fixed the third-person free-look camera passing through nearby terrain.
  • Corrected the cockpit fuel gauge in Creative mode for the pilot seat; the passenger-seat display still needs a fix.
  • Pressing F1 now hides the helicopter HUD along with Minecraft's HUD.
  • The engine now shuts down after roughly three seconds of full submersion. Water up to approximately two blocks above skid level is allowed. After a submersion shutdown, pick up and place the helicopter again to restore engine operation.

Multiplayer: Update the server and every player's client to 0.22.43. Do not keep an older version installed alongside this one.

Tested environment

Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 / Forge 66.0.0 / Java 25. Other Forge versions have not been tested.

Known issues and planned fixes

  • In Creative mode, the cockpit fuel gauge may show 0% when viewed from the passenger seat. A fix is planned.
  • Cockpit instruments may flicker after changing the screen resolution. This needs further investigation, with a fix planned if confirmed.
