Elevator Mod

Adds two carpet-styled plates that work like an elevator: activate one, and you're moved straight to the nearest matching plate above or below you through floors and ceilings, no open shaft needed!

Blocks
- Elevator Up (blue) — scans upward for the nearest elevator plate and moves you there.
- Elevator Down (brown) — same, but scans downward.
Either plate will find any elevator plate in its search direction, so you can mix Up and Down plates freely between floors.

How to use

Place an Elevator Up plate on one floor and an Elevator Down (or another Up) plate on another floor, directly above or below it. Hit the crouch button or remapped button while standing on the plate to teleport.

The activation key defaults to your crouch key, but it's fully rebindable — head to Options → Controls → Elevator Mod → Activate Elevator to set it to anything you like.

A chime plays on teleport (higher pitch going up, lower going down).

Crafting

Each plate is crafted with iron ingots, wool (blue or brown to match), and redstone:
I is for iron ingots.

W is for wool.

R is for redstone.
