🏆 Shurui's DMZ Tournaments 1.0.0-beta.1 (First Public Beta)

The first public beta of the automated tournament manager for DragonMine Z. Define recurring PvP brackets and let the mod run them for you, arenas, schedules, rules, rewards and sign-up NPCs, all from in-game menus styled to match DMZ.

✨ What's included

  • Automated tournaments: daily / weekly / monthly schedules with configurable sign-up windows, or start one by hand. The mod builds the bracket, teleports fighters, seats the eliminated in the stands, heals between rounds, and announces every step in chat with a custom sound.
  • Multiple named tournaments: run as many independent, concurrent tournaments as you want, each with its own bounds, schedule, rules, and rewards. Manage them from a list menu (create / edit / open / delete).
  • WorldEdit arena setup: capture each tournament's arena, waiting room, and spectator stands straight from your WorldEdit selection, no coordinate typing.
  • Sign-up NPCs: turn any registered entity into a tournament host. Right-click to join, leave, teleport to the waiting room, or check status; links persist through world saves with word-wrapped floating names.
  • Match & ruleset control: friendly-fist enabled during matches, full heals between rounds, out-of-bounds PvP blocked, and an optional items-allowed rule that safely stashes and restores inventory, offhand, and Curios (surviving logout and crashes).
  • Structured rewards: per-tournament prize tables built from selectable tokens, run a command, give an item, teleport, grant a DMZ skill level, award a title, or send a message, with searchable item/skill/title dropdowns.
  • Transferable champion titles: award a colored title that shows above the winner's head and in chat, with a single holder each that transfers to the next champion automatically.
  • Tabbed editor & permissions: General / Bounds / Schedule / Rules / Messages / Rewards tabs with hover tooltips; all admin actions are permission-gated and server-validated.

🧪 Known limitations

  • An in-progress bracket lives in memory, restarting the server mid-tournament abandons the current run (stashed inventories are still restored). Definitions, schedules, and titles all persist.
  • Sign-up NPC skins are placeholders unless a resource pack supplies textures.
