Shard's Factions — Ballistix Compat
A compatibility bridge that teaches Ballistix explosives to respect Shard's Factions territory.

💥 The Problem It Solves
Shard's Factions protects claimed land by blocking non-members from breaking or placing blocks — by design, explosives are the one and only way through a protected claim. Bases are meant to be assaulted with ordnance, not chipped down by hand.
Ballistix's larger warheads — antimatter, dark matter, nuclear, and others — break terrain through their own internal path rather than a normal explosion. That path was getting caught by the same protection that stops hand-mining, which meant those warheads couldn't breach claimed land at all. The core promise of the siege — bring the bombs — quietly didn't work.
This mod fixes that.
✅ What It Does
With this installed:
- 💣 Warheads breach PLAYER claims — the intended siege path is restored.
- ☠️ Warheads damage players caught in the blast inside claimed land.
- 🛡️ SAFEZONE and WARZONE land stays fully protected — system-zone blocks don't break and players inside aren't harmed by the blast.
- ⛏️ Hand tools and automated miners are unaffected — they still cannot touch a protected claim. Only explosives get through, exactly as intended.
🧩 Compatibility & Scope
This bridge covers Ballistix. Other explosion-capable mods may break terrain through their own methods; bringing them in line with claim protection is planned separately. Automated-miner coverage for the Obelisk is also on the wider roadmap.
🔧 Notes
- Lightweight — a single targeted bridge with no content of its own, no config, and no performance cost.
- Hard-depends on Shard's Factions and Ballistix; simply don't install it on servers that lack either.
