New: Wheelchair role (optional)
- A new optional role, off by default, for games with at least 4 players (at most one wheelchair per four players).
- The player sits in a 3D wheelchair whose wheels turn as it rolls. On their own they roll very slowly (0.6 blocks/s), and the chair turns exactly with where they look.
- An ally right-clicks the wheelchair to push it, and right-clicks again to let go. The chair stays in front of them, turns with them and climbs one-block steps.
- Movement is smooth: on your own your client drives the chair (like a boat), and the pusher's client places the chair in front of them right away.
- Shift does nothing in the chair, and the chair never ends up inside blocks (Nether portals, narrow corridors, teleports).
- With the Relief potion, the player gets out of the chair and walks, but can't sprint.
- Hoverboard (2 logs, 1 redstone, 3 iron ingots): a two-wheeled hoverboard attaches in front of the chair, which zooms for 5 s, faster than sprinting. Cooldown 1 min.
New: challenge menu
- A Sensoriel Challenge… button in the pause menu, visible to server operators only. It lets you start, pause or resume, stop, save and load the challenge, and toggle two-team mode and the Wheelchair role. Stopping and loading ask for confirmation.
- Pause (menu or
/defi pause): the timer, the role rotation and the downed countdown stop, and the world is frozen. - Choose the roles in the draw (debug menu or
/defi role <role> on|off): Blind, Deaf, Mute and Wheelchair can each be added or removed, with at least 3 roles. The draw animation only shows the active roles. - Save and load now restore the world around players. Items on the ground, mobs, XP orbs and arrows go back to how they were, so anything dropped or spawned after the save disappears. Blocks are not restored.
Fixes
- Deaf audio is now reliable. Every playing sound is checked each tick, so you no longer stay muffled after the Deaf role ends, and sounds that started before you became Deaf are muffled too.
- Reviving works whatever you hold. A shield or bow in either hand no longer blocks reviving. If it was already raised, it is lowered as soon as you aim at a downed player.
- No more surprise restart after a win. Teleporting after the Ender Dragon died could start a new game.
- The sunglasses, headphones and mouth cross on Ghasts were huge and below the Ghast. They now sit on its face.
- Setting a role by hand (debug menu,
/defi definir) or loading a save no longer plays the role draw animation.
Changes and balance
- The game no longer starts on its own. Only
/start(or the menus) starts it. - All items with a cooldown now recharge in 1 minute: Megaphone, Notepad, Whistle, Walkie-Talkie, Special Magnifier and Hoverboard. The cane's sonar keeps its short delay.
- Blind players under the Relief potion see their inventory almost clearly and can read tooltips. Holding the cane, the inventory is slightly more blurred than before.
- Farts and burps are a little less frequent (one every 8 s on average).
- Re-roll potions are rarer (15 to 20% of chests). Relief potions are slightly rarer: 90% of Nether fortress and bastion chests, slightly smaller stacks, and piglins barter them a bit less often (6%).
- The Walkie-Talkie is louder, its voice is clearer, and it fades less with distance.
