Your carrot field stays a carrot field.
In vanilla, a farmer villager replants whatever seed happens to be first in its pocket. Harvest a row of carrots and it may come back as wheat; modded crops get ignored entirely. Seed Savvy teaches farmers to replant properly.
Features
- Replants what was harvested — carrots stay carrots, potatoes stay potatoes, modded crops stay modded crops.
- Uses a seed from the harvest — if the farmer has none of that seed yet, it takes one from the drops of the crop it just broke.
- Empty plots match their neighbours — a gap in a potato row is filled with potatoes (when the farmer has them).
- Modded seeds just work — any seed that places a crop block can be planted and is collected by farmers. Modded farmland in the
c:villager_farmlandstag is supported. - Server-side only — install it on the server (or in singleplayer); players do not need it. Vanilla clients can join.
- No dependencies, no world data saved — safe to add or remove at any time.
