Seasonal 1.4.0 (NeoForge 26.1.2)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Added
- Graveyards in the soul sand valley: a walled yard of blackstone graves, some dug open, a few topped with skulls and heads, and a mausoleum with a spiral stair down to a burial crypt under the yard, guarded by four wither skeletons. The crypt's chest is a boss's hoard: gold, diamonds, bottles o' enchanting, enchanted books and enchanted diamond gear, and almost always one rarer find: netherite scrap, ancient debris, a netherite ingot, a Soul Speed book, a Totem of Undying, a wither skeleton skull, or the rib trim or netherite upgrade template.
- The Grim Reaper, a boss, waits unseen in every graveyard's burial crypt. Come round the wall at the foot of the stairs into the crypt and it comes out of the air with a purple boss bar, plunges everyone nearby into Darkness for 10 seconds, and hunts you: 200 health, and it flies, up the stairs and out into the yard after you if you run. Its scythe reaches about 3 blocks and sweeps everyone in an arc in front of it for 10. From further off it hooks you and drags you in, and once wounded it holds a soul drain beam on you that heals it by what it takes. Every blow it lands leaves you in Darkness, where only its red eyes show. Like the Harvest Lich, mob effects don't land on it and ghostly armour doesn't hide you from it. It gives 50 experience, as much as the Wither, but has no item drops yet.
Changed
- The Harvest Lich now drops 150 experience, up from 50: three times what the Wither gives.
- Ghosts and evil scarecrows now drop 8 experience, up from 5.
- Ghosts are far rarer in the soul sand valley, where they never fade: spawn weight 10, down from 100, and alone rather than in pairs. Elsewhere they are unchanged.
