Seamless Ores 3.0.0 [Fabric/Quilt] [26.2]
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Nine more mods
Seamless Ores now restyles ore from other mods as well as vanilla, taking it to 295 blocks in total. Create, Create: New Age, Create: TFMG, Dense Mekanism, Energized Power, Mythic Metals, Mythic Upgrades, Powah, Silent Gear, Silent's Gems and Things are all supported, and on 1.20.x so are Exp Ores and Ice and Fire.
Every one of them is optional and detected automatically, so nothing needs configuring and nothing breaks if you do not have them. Which ones have a build differs by Minecraft version and loader, which comes to 68 blocks on Fabric and 64 on NeoForge here.
Its own creative tab
With that many blocks, the ores were burying vanilla's Natural Blocks tab, so they now have a tab of their own, sorted vanilla first and then grouped by the mod each ore comes from.
Config
Each supported mod gets its own section, and sections for mods you do not have are hidden. The screen now uses a scrolling sidebar rather than a row of tabs, which stopped being usable past about five categories.
Two copper settings
Vanilla's large copper veins are packed with granite, so once they are restyled they read as solid walls of copper, and dripstone caves get sixteen extra veins per chunk that no other biome does. Ordinary copper now defaults to 75 percent and dripstone caves to 50 percent. These are the first settings that change Overworld ore amounts, so they are worth knowing about. Set both to 100 and generation is untouched vanilla again.
Fixed
The worldgen log reported every Nether vein resize as a zinc resize, whether or not Create was installed.
Retuned Nether defaults
The Nether felt empty at the values 2.0.0 shipped with on this version. Basalt deltas run twice the gold and quartz attempts of ordinary Nether, and almost none of them land on netherrack, so the old defaults converted very few of them. Nether ore rarity is now one in two rather than one in eight, and Nether vein size 80 percent rather than 60. Zinc vein size moves from 9 to 10. The other Minecraft versions have had these numbers since 2.0.0.
