Screw It! Too Many Keybinds
Tired of having too many keybinds just to play mods?
Can you even remember which key opens the map anymore? Was it J? M? Or was that the quest book?
Have you run out of comfortable keys and started binding things to F9, Numpad 3, and Right-Ctrl-Shift-G?
Do you load up a big modpack and spend ten minutes in the Controls menu just to relearn everything?
Screw it. Put them all on a wheel.
What it does
Hold one key (V by default) and a radial wheel pops up. Drop any keybind onto a slice of the wheel, vanilla or modded, and from then on you just hold V,
Instead of memorizing twenty keys, you remember one.
How easy is it? This easy:
1. Hold **V**. The wheel appears.
2. **Left-click** to edit the wheel.
3. Click a slice, then pick any keybind from the searchable list (your map, your backpack, your quests, anything in the game).
4. That is it. Next time, hold **V**, flick toward that slice, release. Done.
No commands. No restart. No digging
Start with a few slices and add more whenever you want; just scroll while editing and the wheel grows to fit. The more slots you add, the thinner each one gets and the sharper your flick has to be, so keep it to the keys you actually use and it stays effortless. Fewer slices, faster muscle memory.
Rename anything
Do not want "key.journeymap.minimap.toggle" staring back at you? Rename any slice to whatever your brain calls it ("Map", "Backpack", "Home") in the config. The wheel should read the way you think.
Perfect for
- Heavy modpacks drowning in keybinds
- Servers that pile on their own hotkeys
- Anyone who is out of keys, or out of patience
Client-side only and built for Forge 1.21.1, so you can run it on any server without the server needing it too. The wheel key is fully rebindable in the normal Controls menu if V is taken.
